Spinney Mtn Reservoir OPENED MAY 1st!!! Reports have been mixed so far this spring, but some nice trout and pike have come out! It should only get better as the water warms up!

There is a one-fish over 20" limit on trout at Spinney Mtn., and no size/limit on Northern Pike caught there. This reservoir is a "Gold Metal Waters"; which means flies and lures only.

11 Mile Reservoir 7/18/10, FISHING REPORT:

Note: I will be out of town the next couple weeks, so the web report will not be updated until the Aug 7th time frame. - Come by the store though, and let the guys know what you know as usual. We'll keep everyone updated at the store until then. - Thanks for following our fishing reports, and we appreciate all your business and support!

Trout: Very Good; but slowed down a little with weekend heat wave. Numerous boaters still reporting very good catches on pop gear, Arnies, kast Masters, & Tazmanian Devils - See us for best colored lures, etc... Shore fishing slower with the heat, but we had some decent catches over the weekend. The South Shore top choice being Rocking Chair area. Coyote Ridge still top pick on the North Shore with Kast-Masters, Power bait & worms all bringing in most catches.

Northern Pike: Good this weekend; with numerous pike caught in Parking Lot Cove, Stoll Mtn, & Suckers Cove! We had a half dozen 7 lb thru 14 lb catches over the weekend with Sunday's action strongest. Pike Bunnies, Rapala's, Colo Spinners; are some of our reported best bets. - See us for latest lures, hot spots, etc...

Kokanee: OK: but not many limits reported this week. Weekend had a few caught in front of North Shore small Docking area, but most reports had them deep with the heat - Numerous boaters reporting fish screened @ 45ft to 65ft of water between the eastern islands. Pop Gear, & Dodgers; with Arnies, Dick Nite's, Mack wedding rings, & Needle Fish tipped with worms or Pautzke Trout & Kokanee Fire Corn top choices with our guys. - Check out our fabulous Kokanee supplies when you come by!
